This month offers several opportunities for involvement in events benefiting featured priorities of the Campaign for UCSF:

"Rx Laughter"

John Kerner, MD, former chief of the UCSF department of obstetrics and gynecology and a pioneer in women's health, will be honored at this fundraising event for the Center for Excellence in Women's Health. Will Durst, Johnny Steele and Ron Feingold are among the comedians scheduled to perform.

"Boz Scaggs and Friends…and All That Jazz!"

Hosted by the Friends of Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, this El Morocco-style evening of cocktails, dinner and music by singer-songwriter Boz Scaggs will benefit the Children's Center at LPPI.

Produced by DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) and hosted by Elle Decor and Champagne Taittinger, this event will raise funds for the UCSF AIDS Research Institute. Featured will be table décor by renowned fashion designers and architects, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, a seated dinner and dancing at the Champagne Taittinger Bubble Blast Dessert Party.
