Recent Events Support Cancer Research and Care
Team UCSF Participates in "Bay to Breakers"

UCSF students, faculty and staff joined a throng of 70,000 to take part in San Francisco's annual Albertsons "Bay to Breakers" on May 18. A portion of the proceeds raised by participants will support the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Pixar Screening Supports Pediatric
Cancer Center

The Pediatric Cancer Center benefited from a May 29 preview screening of Finding Nemo, the new animated feature by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. Following a supper reception at Pixar's Emeryville headquarters, director Andrew Stanton and co-director Lee Unkrich introduced the film to an excited crowd of the young and young at heart.
