Rosalyn Carter Receives
UCSF Medal

Former First Lady Rosalyn Carter was awarded the UCSF Medal by Chancellor J. Michael Bishop, MD, at a May 22 luncheon sponsored by the Friends of Langley Porter. The award—UCSF's highest honor—was given to Carter in recognition of her longtime advocacy on behalf of people with mental illness. Proceeds from the sold-out luncheon will benefit the Children's Center at Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, a featured priority of the Campaign for UCSF.
