Bristol-Myers Squibb awarded a $500,000 unrestricted "Freedom to Discover" grant to Laurence Tecott, MD, PhD, on September 6 at a reception in Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Hall on the UCSF Mission Bay campus. One of only 11 awarded throughout the world, this grant recognizes Tecott's pioneering work on the genetic origins of complex behaviors related to obesity and anxiety.
