Heritage Circle Members Honored at Elegant Mission Bay Tea
UCSF's Mission Bay Community Center was the stunning site for the June 22 Heritage Circle Tea, a biennial event to thank individuals who have included UCSF in their estate plans.
UCSF Chancellor J. Michael Bishop, MD, described the important role that philanthropy has played in building UCSF's spectacular health sciences campus at Mission Bay. Following his talk, guests enjoyed a video featuring Community Center architect Ricardo Legorreta.
After a light lunch, Heritage Circle members were invited to tour the brightly colored building, which includes the Bakar Fitness and Recreation Center, a conference center and auditorium, a library, and an indoor-outdoor café.
