Bloomingdale's has selected the clinical and research programs at UCSF Children's Hospital as beneficiaries of its San Francisco store's grand opening on September 26. These pediatric programs will receive 100 percent of all ticket sales and donations, plus 10 percent of the store's retail sales that evening. Bloomingdale's opening gala in San Francisco will feature a cocktail buffet and live performance by Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti.
