UCSF Founders Day Banquet

All friends of UCSF and members of the campus community are cordially invited to the 2007 UCSF Founders Day Banquet. The event will feature presentations of the UCSF Medal to four distinguished individuals:
  • Brook Byers, senior partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and a director of the UCSF Foundation
  • Robert Derzon, former director of the UCSF Hospitals and Clinics (1970-78), senior vice president emeritus of The Lewin Group, and a member of the UCSF Foundation
  • Wendy Kopp, founder and president of Teach for America
  • Mamphela Ramphele, education and human development leader and anti-apartheid activist
The Academic Senate's Faculty Research Lecturer, Distinguished Clinical Research Lecturer, and recipients of the Distinction in Teaching Award will also be honored at the banquet. The event is black tie-optional.
